When Anna lands in Jamaica with her friends for a week at a hedonism resort she is over shadowed by worry, and anxiety. She knows nothing of this lifestyle except for the fact that it is not in her wheelhouse. She’s uncertain of her future and is more than a little self-conscious after being left by her former husband for a younger woman. The moment she lays eyes on Beau Emerson she remembers the woman she used to be, the woman she wants to be again, and the intense chemistry that they share is not going to be denied or extinguished. She tells herself over and over again that such a man could never be sated by a vanilla girl such as herself, but her inner battles are about to be lost, because Beau Emerson is not a man that you say no to. In fact Beau Emerson is the man that makes you scream YES! YES! YES! YES! All the while begging for more!

Georgia Cates never fails to suck me into her stories hook, line and sinker, Indulge succeeded to do just this. I dove into Anna and Beau’s story with excitement, I had devoured the Beauty series and fell head over heels with Jack Henry and Laurelyn awhile back and I was giddy with anticipation to see what she had conjured up for us in this new steamy romance. I love her style of writing, and I adore the smart and sassy wit she infuses her characters with. Her stories flow perfectly with just the right of emotion to balance out the intense heat. The story of a young woman travelling to an exotic and erotic resort to set her life back in order was marvelously addictive, steamy, erotic, passionate, delicious and decadent. I loved Anna and Beau’s story; I enjoyed the push and pull, the surrender, the heart break and the drama. I enjoyed their journey and their sadness. Hell I just enjoyed every single second from start to finish, it was a truly fabulous read.

If this is your first Georgia Cates Novel or your 6th I can pretty much guarantee you’re going to love indulging in Indulge.

I wasn't too sure what I was getting into when I started Indulge. I mean a guy and girl meet on an anything goes hedonistic experience how can this get turned into a relationship especially if they are total opposites. Anna James is vanilla. Beau is definitely not preferring polyamory. Anna James is sassy, funny, confident, and definitely knows her boundaries. Beau is charming, sexy, a little cocky, but sweet. The first half of the book I adored. I enjoyed the banter between Beau and Anna Jam...

I mean a guy and girl meet on an anything goes hedonistic experience how can this get turned into a relationship especially if they are total opposites. Anna James is vanilla. Beau is definitely not preferring polyamory. Anna James is sassy, funny, confident, and definitely knows her boundaries. Beau is charming, sexy, a little cocky, but sweet. The first half of the book I adored. I enjoyed the banter between Beau and Anna James. It was interesting to see how their relationship developed in their brief 9 day encounter. But somewhere after the half way point of the book, honestly Anna James began to grate on my last nerve. I don't want to give too much away, but after mistakes and misgivings by both characters Anna James's stubbornness just went on too long for me. Beau wasn't perfect, but I don't know what else the man could have done to convince her of his love. I also felt that Anna James's actions were out of character for this brilliant, young woman I had met earlier in the book. Before anyone hates on me, I completely understood any doubts she had, but drag it out for 20% of the end of the book was too much for me. Ms. Cates does bring it home in the end. Overall, good read and I will continue to look forward to more from Ms. Cates.
